About Regalia Hair
Regalia Hair is located in the centre of Castleton. We provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and a large range of reasonably priced services.
Regalia Hair offer services such as cuts, colours, blow waves, highlights, lowlights, hair-ups for special occasions, kids cuts and mens cuts.
The salon is fully air conditioned and a full selection of drinks are on offer and there is always a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. All ages are welcome from children to young and trendy to middle aged to O.A.P.'s all at reasonable prices (see pricelist). All colours used are Koleston Perfect by Wella which is the UK's leading professional permanent colour.
About the Owner
Regalia Hair is owned and run by Ruth Gavaghan, who still likes to stay in a very hands on role. She also has an apprentice who is currently in training to become a stylist as Ruth likes her up and coming stylists to be educated by herself. Ruth began hairdressing at the age of 14 as this was always a passion of hers and this is the reason why her work is unique and of such a high standard. Ruth Gavaghan
first began her hairdressing career at a salon named "Just Lisa's" where she worked as a junior. She then moved on to "Cobello's" during her time at college where she gained an NVQ level 2. Next came "Freddies" salon where her skills were further developed and she then went on to "Beverly Alexandra" where she completed her Toni & Guy training which again further developed her skills. Now as a fully qualified stylist Ruth worked at "Riverside" salon for 2 years where she built up a clientele and also completed her NVQ level 3 which was needed in order to open Regalia Hair. Regalia Hair was opened in 2002.
